Cutting

I cut my skin,
The razor sinking in.
I feel it bleed,
It is my only need.

It’s a new pain,
Where there’s nothing to gain.
I watch you go,
To where I’ll never know.

Today you said goodbye,
And my eyes just cry.
You promised forever,
But you really meant never.

And you'll be loved again

And love again

And you'll look at your skin--

Scarred because of what is now a memory

And the ones who love you will kiss your scars--

wishing the memory off of you in vain.

If only you could take back the knife,

then no remnant would dare remain...

of the life back when you knew that pain.

Love yourself and those who love you too--

Nothing to gain in that pain but a black hole from wich many  try to return from in vain.
