Cutting

A razor in between the pages of my bible

So my parents think it’s idle

They’ll never uncover

The hardcover

And discover

The object I use to recover

I should retire

The desire

To require

A cut from the barbed wire

That acts as a pacifier

But really puts me in the line of fire
