The Cyborg.

He comes. Boom. Never knowing what lies ahead. Great change. The screaming masses waiting. He arrives. Bejeweled and dazzled to impress. But still fear consumes my heart. Who is he, this creature? Nor alive nor dead. Nor human nor machine he cognitively looks about. Impresses, improves. But not him, his makers. The men that live, the creators, the users. They foresee the future but speak only to themselves in code while programming the creature. Gasp. It breathes. It knows. It feels. It understands. My fear spikes. Its hand stretches. On me. I'm comforted. The cyborg. My new friend.
