The cycle

How can you expect me to trust when I am broken ?

How can you expect me to love when I gave my all and it was still stolen?

How can you expect me to forgive but there’s memories I can’t forget ?

My hearts’ been covered in concrete we know flowers don’t grow from there and if it does it’s really rare

you think you’re the one to save me from despair

good luck and grab a chair

to ride this ferry you have to pay a fare whether it be paid with your heart or in tears
