The Cycle
You happy makes me happy,
which makes you happier
Before this gets sappier,
I noticed the feedback loop
Then it hit me, I got a new hack, it’s fool-proof
Had the machine running, efficiency was through the roof
But then I got bored
Wondered if I could handle a second and maybe a third
Please don’t don’t say a word
I know saying this makes me sound like a turd 💩
Or a Tudor
My point is, blame it on the tutors
They taught me a trick that leaves most people in a stupor
Turns out a perfect gentleman’s gotta be a player
To take on the naysayers
You gotta do better than say prayers
To get the men, you gotta get the women first
Getting the women leaves an unquenchable thirst
But the worst of it all is not knowing how far you’ll fall
Why am I telling you this?
Because I reached clarity
Reached the singularity at the center of this blackhole of depravity
Wonder if I have a black soul now or just a cavity
Cuz I feel empty inside
I tried to stuff it with pride
But I wouldn’t take
It stinks that I’m unhinged and everyday I bake
Tell me, is there any mistake I’ll never make?
Even with all the above, there’s still a part of me you love
That’s the only thought that’ll save me from this fall from grace
if not, I’m better defaced
I always hated this part of the cycle
lets get back to what’s delightful
After you
You smiling, means I’m doing something right
its easy to schedule fights once you see the light
My mind meddles and trust me its past subtle
Already planned rebuttals
of course the assault ain’t frontal
No I won’t make it your fault, or resort to the insults
I’m not that one dimensional
you learn to take my words with a grain of salt
tryna put pain in the other direction
She won’t complain, her mum’s passed the lessons
I say enchante to my next obsession
Tell her class’s in session
Ass showing exponential potential
said she loves the facials
That white chocolate’s essential
Just not the oil.
Cursed to toil in the soil till blood boils
In a bid to find war spoils
A bit like the laws by Charles Boyle
That pressure
But you offer release
Said you live to please
Heart on a trapeze doing a strip tease
Always a pleasure
