Cycle of Change

Sun, 10/01/2017 - 11:06 -- keersen

Trees and plants are green in spring and summer

Autumn comes around, the leaves turn red and orange

Winter arrives, and it feels like the storm lasts forever

Or that the sun hasn’t come out in forever

But nothing lasts forever, nor sunshine nor snow

And the cycle begins all over again.

September came, and the leaves and my life changed

There was a time when it was calm

There was a time when it was not stressful

Then came a time when it was anything but restful

But there will be a time, when everything is just peaceful

And yes, the cycle begins all over again.

See how quickly each day, minute, second passes

Constantly moving into the next

Examine the universe, the planets and stars

Some are in the process of being born

Some are in the process of fading out

But yes, the cycle begins all over again.
