The Cycle of Day

Early morning the sky splits into two

The sun rises to show the time,

The time to wake up and be alive

Alive and free in the world of tomorrow,

Sunday morning shines over our eyes

Eyes blinded from the shine,

Eyes blinded by the divine from above

Above from the divine city,

The afternoon arrives the day is almost done

Afternoon delight feels the land with grace,

The midday rain showers over the land

The rain reveals the hidden beauty of the land,

The long day is almost at hand

The crimson sunset falls on the land,

The sunset shines on the lake and reflects into the sky

The sky some will be dark with ebony lines,

The cycle of day is at an end

The day is over and will begin again,

The moonlight shines over our head

Moonlite dreams hover in the air,
