The cycle of life

Human life begins as a fragile fetus forming

within the inner depths of a woman.

Enduring so great a pain, the mother longs

For her new baby to be born into the world.

And as quick as the thunder roars after the lightning strikes

the new soul emerges from the womb.

As time pass the baby grows into a child

full of life with a smile that’ll make a tree leap for joy.

One day the child is driving his shiny, red, toy fire truck around,

“vroom, vroom!” he imitates the trucks’ sound.

The next day the truck is driving the child who is now an adult

to his job as a fireman to tame the blazing hot flames.

The adult locates the love of his life and marries her

and soon they are expecting their first baby.

The parents to be bought enough baby supplies for fifty babies

and as the delivery day nears the mothers pains grossens.

Years passed by the man is alone thinking over his life

after the first childbirth he tragically loses his wife

the stress from the mother passed on to the baby

not so many hours later the baby suffers a blood clot in the brain and dies.

The man is old the man is frail

he grows ill “101...” he weakly reads off the weighing scale

he knows that his days of life are numbered for sure

the man’s time is up and now the man is no more.
