Cycle of New Beginnings
Someone's ending was another's beginning.
Somewhere in this so called free nation,
A minority is being stopped and frisked for no reason,
Beaten as if they had committed some kind of deadly sin.
They did nothing, but you have to face your kid at the end of the day,
Trying to give reasons as to why they should always keep their head down,
Why they should always stay calm and do what the police officer asks, so that they won't get hurt.
Why they should not wear certain clothes, because they can be easily suspected as a criminal.
Why their mother and father cannot always be them.
In the seconds when a man dies, a child is born.
Into a society that would either accept or dehumanize for they amusement of the so called superior beings.
