The Cycle Today

A shooting at a middle school

My new Jimmy Choo shoes

Abortion Laws and Gay Rights

Sharkeisha just got in another fight

CNN and World Issues

A picture of me crying; can I have some tissues?

What is the internet for young adults in society

I just hope that at least, I will not be

Someone not plagued with anxiety or fear

Hoping that the end will not be near

But someone who is aware of today

While our parents are busy trying to pay

For clothes and iphones

The dissapointment when they hear our groans

Truth be told, you're not in their place

You don't know the troubles they face

The disrepect as you go on twitter

Typing words because you're bitter

"Bitch"

"Slut"

"Failure"

You should be seen as a traitor

The woman who held you in your womb

The father who watched you bloom

They loved you before you were born

For you, they only wanted more

And they try

But the fact is that they can not hide

the fact that we are oppressed

Your parents they are stressed

Get off your phone and have some respect

Because when your get a job, followers on instagram is not what they expect
