Cycles
There you are, you're not alone
And here I am
Skin and bone
If I'm waiting I don't know what for
But knowing that you left with her
Is enough to tell me
I too should leave
But the problem is
You did first
With that look in your eye
You left
As if you knew that you were taking my world with you
Blatantly let it follow like a shadow
Into your new life
Into your new home
Where nothing really changed
Except our masterpieces within it
Tainted
My world is still there
I feel it's with you now
Naturally it is not kept in your heart
Maybe in your pocket
Of the pants she takes off
In the bed where you came to know love
Where you were introduced to my world
And asked to keep it safe in your arms
I cannot see where it has been
But I feel what it has seen
That you've stripped all innocence
And set fire to the memories
And to the memories of mine
And to the pieces of our worlds which had intertwined
You lit them on every corner
Burnt so as to become incompatible
Then you spread those ashes onto my memory
My memory of it all
