Cynical Monster

Don't let anyone in
You're too crazy to be loved
Too complicated to be understood
You push people away
And scare people off
With your 'psychotic episodes'
They would label you clinically insane
If you gave them the chance
Tears form, but never flow
Unless they are forced
They are always forced
And I am always crying
If not physically, mentally
I am breaking down
Giving up, giving in
to the demands of
Depression.
Go ahead, label
me a cynical monster
who cannot be helped
I already have.
