D-DAY: Heroes of the War

At 6:30 AM, the troops landed.

Bernard Montenegry has just commanded

Clods of dirt used for cover

Deliver the Ammo or be devoured

Each soldier has their own fire

For Every soldier has been empowered

German machine guns were very overpowered

Hit and  get knocked down several times

In the heat of battle the tempo climbs

Jokes were told before the battle

Kicking hard the machine guns rattle

Landmines exploded faster than ever

Montenegry did not expect this

Normandy was about to be liberated!

Oh No! A soldier cried

Pouring bullets from the towers

Question was asked

Roger, Will this be enough for the Axis powers?

Seven soldiers ran to no mans land

The other five thousand followed

U boats were not present

Vacation, this was not

World's countries united

XXX corps were fighting for france

You gotta go to the bunkers they said

Zulu, Foxtrot, Alpha, do you copy they are dead?
