I am opinionated yet kept quiet

I am naive, so always decieved

I am somebody, but I have nobody

and that's quite okay with me

They see me and think I'm powerless

I AM STRONG, but they are blind so cannot see

I've been beaten and battered, had my heart shattered

and that is quite okay with me

I look up and see loneliness

never thought this how my life would be

they say to me "You'll never make it."

and that's quite okay with me

But if indeed I fail or fall

and don't achieve all of my dreams..

they would win

they'd be right

and that''s not okay with me
