Dad
Drugs: the thing that killed you
I never wanted that statement to be true
Pill after pill after pill
Eventually, I knew these would kill
"Addiction is a disease, not a choice" they say
But I never expected it to take your life away
Addiction is a real thing
Sit back and take a look at all the sadness it brings
I miss you dad, with every tear
If I had it my way, you would be here
