Dad
Once, there was a life and future with you
now there is not.
Once, there was joy and hope and wonder with you
now there is not.
Once, there were laughs and giggles and smiles with you
now there are none.
Once, I hoped of not disappointing you,
now I have not.
Once, I never thought I would lose you
now I have.
Once, I was a child
now I am not.
