Dad

Every Monday you left I was agitated

Every Friday you came home I was inflated.

Every time you tried to make it better I ran

Because every time you hugged me I knew it wouldn't last till Friday.

After years of the same routine I realized,

Every Monday you left you felt agitated to go

Every Friday you came home you were deflated to not be welcomed anymore

Every time you worked harder for me,

Because you wanted to be my inspiration for my future.

You Are.
