Dad
Syria
His home
He comes to America
Education is the goal
Education is all he knows
He was told education will set him free
From the slummy neighborhood
He was raised
He comes to America
Factory work to raise money
For all know, money will get him to the next milestone
He goes to a community college
Then U of I Urbana-Champaign for Electrical Engineering
Finally IIT
The top of the top
However, Discrimination doesn't care about your achievements
Discrimination is arragonce
Discriminaton is a choice
Discrimination is imprinted as a facial expression
An Attitude
A disease infrindging on the basic rights of human beings
Something almost impossible to prove
He overcomes that -- for a couple of years
But no one told him
Discrimination always wins
Middle class city
Oppressed by White America
Change is a simple concept
But narrow-mindedness doesn't allow much to pass its ridgity walls
If I could change Discrimination
And in its place put opportunity
Then that's what I woud do
