DAD
Though you were taken too soon,
I knew you were going way past the moon,
To a place called Heaven
It was hard not to cry
But I knew you would fly
An angel you became
But I still carry our name
One day I'll see you again
So I keep my life forgiven of sin
On that beautiful shore
I will be sad no more
Thinking of you often I hope you know
You are embedded in my soul
I love you Dad
and I try not to be sad
Because one day we'll be reunited
An I am super excited
For when that day comes
I hope to share my sums
Of the life I have created
Of the woman I have mated
To make you proud
I keep praying out loud
Living my life the best that I can
To make you a happy man
Watching over me daily
I am thankfully blessed
An hope your proud of my success!
