Dad

You said you love me

was that a lie

do you enjoy seeing me cry

I'm tired of wasting my tears on you

I will only stop when I hear you

say the words you love me so

but don't you dare say it then turn and go

I'm tired of sitting by the phone

everyday you must forget to call

I love you dad

but I guess you don't feel the same
