To Dad, With Love.

Sun, 09/17/2017 - 19:49 -- q.kenzz

You would scream at mom,

as I held my ears closed.

You would sling things,

as I shedded tears.

You used to get angry,

you used to get sad.

If I even said a word,

you would get mad.

I used to hate you.

You would hug me,

as I pulled away,

as you got sad.

Now you're gone,

and now i'm sad.

Wishing you'd hug me,

one very last time.
