Dad, My Mentor

The word I use is dad,

Even though he’s not biologically,

And may I add,

He’s been he’s the best mentor I’ve ever had,

No words can describe,

The knowledge he’s shared,

Even the greatest ideologist cannot compare,

Learning a new language,

Advancing his studies alone,

His goal for me, college,

I wish I could give back to him now,

But I know I will be able to in the future,

He’s the best mentor I’ve ever had.
