"Daddy"

I wrote this one at the age of 12.

This one goes out to my daddy, cause hes my best friend.

I know we always be tight until the very end.

Sometimes I loose everything and he is all I've got.

When I feel like just giving up he tells me to give it another shot.

He is the one that I will never lie to.

And always who I'll cry to.

Every time I mess up, slip, and fall. Work so hard to loose it all.

I know exactly who to call. He taught me how to be tough and stand up tall.

He always says to be the best I can be.

When my eyes are weary, he helps me to see.

He's like the glasses I've never had.

So I'd like to thank God for giving me my Dad!
