Daddy

Daddy is caring, loving, and kind.

Daddy is paranoid, insane, and fading.

Daddy buys me anything that comes to my mind.

Daddy's actions are terrifying and degrading.

Daddy snorts the white powder in lines.

Daddy and Mommy yell at each other until sunrise.

Daddy only cares if the drugs are align.

Daddy would never apologize.

Daddy sits alone in a cell.

Daddy has been in there for seven years.

Daddy is a subject on which we do not dwell.

Daddy is gone so there are no more fears.
