Daddy

Thank you for fighting for me

For our beautiful country

I wouldn't be who I am today without you

I know you had to see some really bad things

But daddy

You're my everything

You fought during the war

Then afterward

Getting back on your feet

And those Goddamned dreams

But you fought through it all

You're the strongest person I know

Thank you for serving

And thank you for coming home
