Daddy

Consistently inconsistent

In matters of time and distance

I give this gift to you my child

My joy, my pride, the reason I’m wide eyed

Straining my vision

Remaining committed

Conducting incisions to your mind in ways you don’t get yet.

Cramming the jamming of a million chorus’

Into a weekend that’s unfortunate

As it’s still the end of our time so please don’t forfeit it

I’ve conformed to this.

This arrangement for visitation

Is now a containment.

For in your heart u have no space 4 me.

All because there is no place for me.

Or place 4 u

You’re drafted too

Be sent to war.

More so with life than with any whore I knew before

I knew mature and be the proud bearer of a little girl

So now all things I did adore.

No time for fun

No time to run.

No time for you

No time for me

No space for us

No space to breath

No wait be free

And find my peace

Is always with what I have none of

The trials of life
