Daddy
Sitting on your knee
talking just you and me
Five years old without a care
whenever you were near
I would sit at the door
but you came home late more and more
Where are you dad
am I being bad
you told me you loved me
always together we'd be
yet you chose your addiction
your words were just fiction
It has been thirteen years
how the heck are those beers
You left because you love me
but you didn't can't you see
