Daddy Come Home

When I lay my head down every night,

I pray to God for help with the fight,

for our country, freedom, and spirit,

and for my daddy to come home alive,

I don't care if he has any merits,

I just want him to be by my side,

So I can hold his hand till the end of time,

I love you Daddy, for all you do,

My main priority is not to lose you,

I know how sometimes you are busy

And have to go,

But I want you to know,

How much I love you so

Please Daddy come home.
