Daddy dearest

Oh daddy why are you so cruel??

Since I was little all I ever wanted was foryou to love me and be proud

yet you yelled and screamed every word I could possibly know

They say I had a heart problem, and maybe they're right

only to know it was a wound that would never seal tight

A pain that starts with heartache and what society hates

and what's worse is what you say at the end of the day

you call me fat, ugly, slut, and good for nothing

But dad did you not know

i barely eat now that I basically starve

And I was just a game for the boy

I've graduated from high school and yet you don't change

when I was little  coming home as joyous as can be only

to see you at the table getting dunk and watching tv

i remember the mixture of alcohol and cigarettes

That made my stomach turn

you never got tired of it and always thought it was a joke

saying that I was never smart and that i wouldn't make it really hurt

day by day the same things go on i don't think I can take it any more even though I'm strong

strong enough to know that you can't always bring me down

to bring down my spirits is what you want me to become but daddy dearest jus know

my our not my daddy, hell you never were....
