Daddy's little girl

A little girl is hidden under a black sheet The displeasure of life so sweet Innocence of a lifetime buried deep below Getting older and older, don’t know where it go Father do you remember what you told your little girl It’s me and you against the world A world filled with lies and sorrows A black hole of miseries and cries of tomorrow It’s me against you and the world A girl no more Life unsure Drugs of seduction Memories so crushing Age is rushing With a laughter of nothing But who are you Hmm I’m trying to figure that out too I’m sitting in this gold dilemma That the wind blew in Pick or choose either way you lose You lose the life of a misplaced Misunderstood, educated Underestimated girl A girl trying to grow up A girl lost in this world So you ask who am I I am the compliment of confidence The consequence of my accomplishments The consciousness of my benevolence And I am the excellence that is irrelevant to my intelligence The intelligent tears written on my cheeks Because my heart is not a bullet proof vest It’s more like a filter in a cigarette Flowing through my chest Waiting for the smoke of life to come next Because I am the rejection of neglection The infection of inception The face of aggression The hands of possession Where I am in no relation To the contraction of the train station Where the train station was my innocence And it smashed away the chairs of my self-expression But I didn’t give up Because when innocence turned its back on me I took out its spine; I cut it in half and took what’s mine Then I looked purity in the face and I took out her eyes So I can see my sanity and all the bad times Then Mother Nature and Father Time had the nerve To come together and give me back the other half of mine My innocence And they told me my life was magnificent And that I’m blindfolded by all the extravagance Where I am the protagonist, antagonist The car, driver, thriver, survivor, Lover, hater The beginning of what it is And the ending of what I missed But father I can still cry Cry about all the unwanted space of time The bitter tears of surrender Flowing on your shoulders As my troubles grew boulder and boulder But I know as long as your there Things would get better
