Dag Ignorant

Sitting in my favorite chair I grumble meaningless words like "life is so unfair." Absorbed in my own existence I often fail to notice that there are problems way more real than my own. But people are sleeping on the ground, Void of pride, Begging for help they've lost all control over their lives. I hear a woman weeping as she falls to her knees. Her daughter has gone missing, Evil creeps out of sight. I see children in fear, They've never had a home but a roof under which to cry. Only One knows the abuses they suffer from. I find a young man fixating on the wall, Shivering while debating whether or not to end it all. There’s nowhere to hide, unable to speak he screams inside. Life has more meaning than my own. The troubles we face go largely unknown, Nothing I can say will make them go away The answer’s in our actions.
