Dahlia

Shall she always be so dark

Dancing lightly upon my heart

Yet my words I cannot start

They are broken and will not embark

My skin becomes a ghastly stark

Is there a way to play it smart

I’ll set my eye and then depart

To take her love which has such spark

And she shall know my love is true

We’ll burn together and form a flame

One that will burn through all it can see

And there shall be nothing man can do

We have such rage we shan’t be tame

Once her heart belongs to me
