Dahlias

Dozen dancing dahlias along the meadow
  •
I can see them swaying all day from my window
  •
And in the sacred absent night sky when they sleep
  •
Nature's children still remain together like soundless sheeps
  •
Alluring the eye with their colorful petals
  •
Letting loose of each curved petal as it settles
  •
In time more dahlias will sprout and make a bud
  •
Mesmerizing others while staying in the mud
  •
And as the sun smiles, the dahlias begin to glow
  •
Rejuvenating all that is yet to grow
