Daily Battle

My God you are good, you’ve forsaken me not

your sword I carry with me everyday,

my spirit in you rejoices always,

though my studies have almost come to nought,

my heart for you has sought-

the riches of your glory.

O’ Remember Lord my story,

have mercy upon my memory;

as I reach on towards that goal-

And I go, and I go, and I go.

Hi! I’m a Christian and a new poet who loves to rhyme. I know I sound pretty lame right? Well it’s just me. But I also love poetry that doesn’t rhyme and enjoy various different styles. I’m open to criticism of any type. I’d love help getting to know more about poetry, different styles, etc. Very happy to be a part of the community. Sending love and bright smiles with chinky eyes!
