Daily life as a nurse
What is good health and is it a reality for many
One could say I’ve had a portfolio career
Starting off researching in pharmacology
Slow solid progress, but make no apology
But no drug found to save mankind, I feary
As a nurse, all I can hear are cries from patients
Some want to be attended as fast as possible
I am thrilled to only see two people ahead of me at medical clinic
No one is at reception’s desk I know the routine so I fill out the forms while I wait
No one comes. I have been here four minutes I ask one of the others “was anyone here?”
“She left a bit ago,” one replies. a female nurse comes out of exam room.
Fiddles around a bit.
Goes back into same exam room
Therefore, as we facilitate healthcare delivery
We also want to be recognized and respected
