A Damaged Heart

How can you condemn a person,

Who has stolen the heart of a girl?

You can’t take tears as evidence to the authority,

Because they cannot prove anything in the world.

How do you testify to a crime,

A man who has hurt sincere feelings?

No one can see the scars and wounds created,

Because what cannot be seen, has no meaning.

How can you incarcerate a thief,

Who has taken away a girl’s biggest desire?

Anger cannot prove to a judge,

That he is culpable and be put on trial.

How can you accuse and imprison,

A man who took happiness from a soul?

Sadness and pain cannot help to testify...

A damaged heart cannot be easily fixed or restored.
