Damaged With Stained Thoughts

These nightmares just won’t stop,

I can’t stop waking in a cold sweat,

Wishing for it all to be over,

But it’ll never be over;

Will I have this fear forever?
I hate it so much,

And I want so badly to get rid of it,

But I can’t.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
