I will never quite get

why girls are so mean

walking through the halls

feeling so tough in jean

everyone is human

and feelings get hurt

when words are said

and people are treated like dirt

we are all the same

one and all

you're not better

might even be small

you will find out

in the end

when you get turned on

by who you thought was a friend

It is beautiful when a poet can relay an experience or feelings through writing, this is a really good poem!
