A Damn Good Grilled Cheese

Sizzle, pop, sizzle, sizzle,

The butter in the pan,

Cooking the bread to a perfect golden brown,

While the cheese melts slowly

I flip with a smile,

It’s almost done,

The first grilled cheese I’ve ever made

By myself

Crunch, sizzle, crunch, crunch,

It’s still hot,

Buttery, cheesey, delicious,

Strings of cheese stretch with every bite

That’s a damn good grilled cheese

I made dinner for myself,

With a pan on a stove,

No microwave involved,

Like a real life adult
