Damsel in Formation

A crooked wish depicting

fantasy that will never exist.

She once believed in fairytales.

Barely lucid through life's decisions,

She became incapable of

Granting yet another favor

Never forgetting her Man-

A cure to all her frustrations

Grasping for a foot hold

from a failed trust fall.

She became a

Lady in distress,

Damsel in formation

Trapped in a faux reality

She bids her time for a noteworthy event

Waiting aimlessly to be rescued.
