The Dance


I walk in the studio, dressed for the affair I sit down and but on my shoes, carefully lacing each lace in a perfect knot I begin to warm up losing myself in another world As I begin to dance, I don't know where I am The stage light are bright, glowing so bright The audience applauds as I slip and slide across the stage The energy is flowing, my adrenaline rushing As I take my bow I lift my head To realize I am by myself in the studio And The Dance was all in my head...
