Dance

I woke up

jumped out the bed

spinned into the kitchen heard my mother turn on the radio

as I heard the beat I recognized it was my song

my mom started cooking breakfast

she yelled go dance where there’s space

I sprint across the hall and zigzag into the yard

as I stepped into the fresh cut grass I saw a

shallow

the shallow started following my moves

I tried to look for the person but as I stopped it stopped

looking around I saw from the corner of the eye

this lady with a white dress

I told her come come she came

we moved like an artists graces
