DANCE ALONE
It's a beautiful night to go out for a dance. It's a beautiful night to wave around my hands. As I step into the night and walk into a bar. I sit at a table at the bar corner, so I can study the people that live off the bar order. I realize the environment was different than what I've imagined. I saw the connection between life and magic. Eyes started flooding my way as I sat alone. Women started pointing, questioning why I was alone. I saw a world of people I wish I could have unseen. What I'm about to describe to you is reality. "IF THIS WILL BE TO MUCH FOR YOU STOP READING." Their was a couple sitting beside me enjoying each other's company. So I thought, until I saw the woman's eye that had a bruise that was uncomforting. She tried to cover it up with make up to make it look vanishing. I couldn't unsee it though, it was eye opening. The man gripped her arm tightly and told her to look happy. He said, "If you don't, I will kill you tonight." Her smile grew wider than a psychopath, she tried her best not to show she was afraid. She tried signaling others at different tables by screaming certain words like help or you're killing me, while laughing. I knew she was being abused, but I didn't know what to do. Her eyes connected with mine, she winked at me as a sign for help. While her husband was distracted by a football game. She rolled up her sleeves to show me her bruises and bite marks. Her husband glanced down noticing what she was doing, he turned around to me, then grabbed her arm and ran out the building. I sat there in shock not knowing what to do. "I probably could have helped her if I would have moved." The next day the woman's body was found in a lake. Where she was beaten, raped, and strangled to death. I felt so terrible that my heart beat so fast out my chest. "I could have saved her, if I wasn't afraid. Now it's to late." it was hard to believe that her body was now cold. If it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have been dancing alone.
