Dance is the Inspiration of my life

Dance. Dance has been the central point of my life since I started when I was in middle school. Dance to me is more than just a sport, it's a passion. Dance is something I work hard for, something I put all my spare time and effort into. Why do I dance? I dance because there is nothing else that engages me the same way physically, emotionally and socially all at once. Dance is an art, an outlet, a way to transform our emotions into a beautiful movement. I dance because it makes me feel alive like I’m using the special and unique thing that was made just for me on this earth. Have you ever been to space? I've been every time I dance. Music is like a spaceship, allowing me to experiment with another dimension. It brings me to the space of human beings.  New dance partner, a new ticket to a place I’ve never been to. I dance because it celebrates what we have been through. There is a lot of pain, hardships, and negativity outside the dance community. I dance because here I find joy midst a depressing world. When I dance I switch my thinking off. I feel more beautiful, graceful and free. I forget all the troubles and feel as if I’m in a different world. My thoughts and pain, mental and physical, disappear; its as almost I’m a different person when I dance.
