Dance In It

It's serene and peaceful

As I slowly unwrap my umbrella bundle and elevate it over my head.

It's so crisp

So refreshing

So different, but yet so familiar.

It fills the atmosphere with small putters on parched thick leaves

And dry sizzled cement, just waiting to be refreshed and renewed by the touch.

I trot through the puddles and look forward.

The sun is vansished, but yet the day is still beautiful.

Inhaling a deep breath of the invigorating air,

I release the light umbrella to the damp cement.

There is nobody in sight in this amazing scene.

No walking individual to witness this breathtaking daytime.

I slide my heel across the small pool of reservoir from this crisp waterfall from the sky

And twirl myself around

And around.

The fall of clear water lands on the top of my head

One by one

As I continue to soak up these wonders.

My garments and hair are soon drenched with cool water

But I don't care.

This feeling is so beautiful and amazing

I wouldn't trade it in for anything.

All of the hardships and stress

All of the heartbreaks and sadness

Are all relinquished with the wave of this revitalizing water.

I stop my turning and breathe in.

Dance in it  I think to myself.

I live to

Dance in it
