In Dance We Trust

As a form of art, doesn’t matter the scene But this is also for kings, not just a queen. Career, a job, or a hobby it can be Dance, rhythm, music, and ‘Do, Re Mi’. Era of factions, united are we Finally a common interest, with a capital ‘D’. Gestures are made and a feeling of euphoria, Having the mind of a dancer, never a warrior. Inferior to nothing, superior to all Just as the president to his country, never will he fall. Kaleidoscope of beats from a sequence or a song Law-abiding citizens must all join along. Mesmerized by melodies: rock, pop, and fusion Never in reality, always feels like an illusion. Opposed to violence, oblivious to the world Pure in beauty and value, dance is like a pearl. Questioned by many, “What’s the point, are you done?” Referring to our government, “Together, it makes us one”. Searching for a muse until the crack of dawn To infinity and beyond, this art will linger on. Under a unanimous vote, we can all agree Various forms, each so unique, like a lock and a key. Wane the inequality, our country should be proud Xenophobia is prohibited, hatred’s not allowed. Youths today, our generation is wealthy in the soul Zip past our differences: One dance, one world, one goal.
