Dancer

Dance A sport Jumping, Leaping, Sweating Wow, I’m getting sore Took a break for water Even that couldn’t quench my thirst. Brushing the sweat off of my forehead, Knowing that you only have an hour left Until I get to go home, and rest my Aching body, my heart pounding in my chest. I need To take a hot shower, allowing the heat to roll down My sore, stinging bones. I can barely walk the next day, because Of all the near-impossible movements my body had done last night. I Can’t believe that I went through with that triple back hand-spring last night Because now I know that I shouldn’t have, because after that, my ankle had twisted.
