A dancer

Not your typical artist

With watercolor paints

Or with sounds

But with the movement of the body

Movements from the heart

Creating our own art

Movements from the soul

Reaching our goals

Dancing to wash away the pain

Keeping us sane

We flex

And Stretch

Not giving up

Even if we get runner up

Our canvas is the dance floor

As we soar

We dance with passion

Dressed in high fashion

Every step means something

Thinking about nothing

Dance heals us

No need to discuss

Dance will cause you

To lose yourself

And find yourself

At the same time
