A dancer

In the studio the only thing I think of is my arm gently rounded

in second and how far I can point my foot as it flies  through countless grande battements

the studio doesn't care about what I've done. No one there knows who I am

all they care about is my ability to dance to push my self harder then I ever thought

i could. They expect more out of me then anyone else in my life. In the studio I am a different person leading a life that in intermixed in two different worlds

ballet takes alot out of me I may never be good enough but it is a comfort I need to get me through life and its harsh realities
