Dancing in the Rain

If only I could drop

every single thing I'm doing

and like the drop that has been dropped become a drip that's slowing

And take my cozy flannel buttoned up to chest for warmth

and wave my fuzzy sleev-ed arms from east to west to north

and in the marvelous lovely breeze which moves my soul as much as rustling trees

the calm and subtle whitish grey with tiny blots of blue

and if only there was only just a bit of falling rain

Dancing freely would I be to music playing silently

wherever it may be.

I am a poet, musician, and strong proponent of LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and being your true self no matter what ANYONE says. Do what you please, comment anything that comes to your mind, make you happy first. Then your dog/cat. That's pretty much it. Hail Santa. THE END.
